Turmeric used in stick form may work better as the commercially available powder may be adulterated. To prepare the paste – soak about 100 gms of Turmeric stick in water over night drain and boil in water or steam cook in Pressure cooker, cut into small pieces, grind for fine paste. Store in Refrigerator for future use.

For cough and cold boil 1/2 to a spoon of the paste in about a cup of milk and drink first thing in the morning. Wait for about 20 min before any other thing orally. You may make tea /coffee using this paste.

    Works wonders

While telling the benefits of a herb its usage needs to be elaborated for guidance of general people. Like use of Turmeric is good for certain things but how to use it needs to be explained too. And any side effects its continuous use might have.
Like Ashish used it continuously with milk but he now says he got BP due to its continuous use?
